We collect the following information when you use the Service: (a) email address and password when you create an account; (b) payment information processed through Stripe — we do not store your credit card details; (c) usage data including the number of teleports performed; (d) device identifiers when you connect an iOS device to the companion app. We do not collect or store the GPS coordinates you set as your simulated location.
We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process your subscription payments; (c) track your usage against free tier limits; (d) communicate with you about your account or the Service; (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
Your account data is stored in Supabase, which uses secure, encrypted infrastructure. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards. The companion app runs locally on your Mac and communicates with your iOS device directly — no location data passes through our servers.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with: (a) Stripe for payment processing; (b) Supabase for authentication and data storage; (c) law enforcement when required by law.
The companion app communicates directly between your Mac and your iPhone over USB or local WiFi. Simulated GPS coordinates are sent directly from your Mac to your iPhone and are never transmitted to our servers. We have no record of where you teleport.
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication session management. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your account and data; (d) export your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@here.app.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and encrypted data storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
